The constant growth of the exhibition has made it possible that its 8th edition is a renewed version, larger, with new space design and an aesthetics of its own, which is already a distinctive characteristic of the event as a consequence of the reinforcement between historical and the contemporary artworks. This edition specially focuses on market strengthening, resulting in a first business negotiation carried out jointly with Fundación Exportar, to which different actors of the international market have been invited to visit galleries in the exhibition, closing sales and making exchange agreements. There is no doubt that Expotrastiendas is a platform which creates target audience for the visual arts market. It is worth highlighting that the writer and theoretician Raquel Tibol, after 30 years living abroad, took part in the exhibition, presenting "Siqueiros’ Transit Towards Plastic Exercise" in the auditorium. Some days later, its protection and restoration was announced. In this edition, the dialogue between creativity, artwork and market gave outstanding results.
